「A great location, awesome staff, pleasant public areas, but the rooms could do with some updating.」
+The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and food were great, but if you don't like Indian/spicy food there is little alternative. The wait staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The view of the Ganges from the hotel was excellent. The public areas were really nice and welcoming.
−Our rooms were clean and the facilities were fine, but they were a little bit "tired" and in need of some maintenance and a bit of "sprucing up". Everything worked but it was all a bit dated (e.g. the bathroom mirror frame was flaking, the wooden bedroom fittings were a bit past their sell-by date and the AC had a mind of its own). There was nothing to complain about but a bit more attention to detail would have improved our stay.

「Good but room for improvement」
+Good location.
−On arrival in Reception an overpowering, synthetic odour to which I am alergic. I go to Rishikesh for the fresh air

「Not so great and not worth the money」
+Location is ok. But access to it is a pain . Food is good
−Not worth the money. Hygiene and maintenance of rooms is very questionable. Doors are broken tv doesnot work and seems like the facility is running only due to the touristy nature of the location and the food

「Disappointed」
+Quick room service. River and mountain view
−Restricted ghat access, you don't have access to water ghats for which I paid twice the amount ,water clogging in the washbasin and toilet , not so clean specially the chairs outside the balcony were dirty, water leakage issue in balcony, bad service in food area except one or two people nobody was taking interest, food was very average and salty, rude manager, not worth 22766 per night.
