「Above and beyond expectations」
+I am disabled as is my partner we both use scooters to get about. We were on second floor and lift broke, we were moved to a ground floor room and staff even carried mine and my partners scooter downstairs for us. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated with kindness and respect. Bteakfast was brought upstairs to us and evening meal brought to our room. Would really like to thank all staff involved to make our stay comfortable

+It was very clean and the staff were so helpful.
−The breakfast was very good but the bacon seemed to be very dry!
「Great location and staff - hotel needs an upgrade」
+It was located very well to the venue i needed to be at for work and from the train station. Staff were lovely. bed sheets and towels plenty and clean spare pillows plenty of wardrobe space for 1 or 2 nights tea and cofffe avail hair dryer (i brought my own) shampoo and shower gel room size ok for 1 night only if you are going to sleep there not work
−The carpet had a massive bleach stain on the floor The TV remote had the back missing so the batteries kept falling out The water from the shower spilled out inot the bathroom making it slippy - really daft design Limited menu no room service you had to carry the food to your room yourself (although the very kind receptionist did say she would carry it up for me if it wasn't busy but she got busy!) Breakfast was limited very basic but ok if you don't want big breakky The window did not properly lock so I could hear everything (despite asking for a quieter room) The dining area is in the foyer - never seen that before! Air con dirty and blowing that dust out

「Good value stay in a pleasantly run modern chain hotel.」
+Quiet at night, clean, close to station and town (though little immediately around). The staff on reception and in the bar/reception are very helpful, professional and pleasant. The bar/lobby/cafe is modern and clean.
−Carpets need changing, they feel a bit dirty. Nothing to do with cleaning - they are just old.
「Not pleasant stay」
−We have requested a Double bed room but given two single bed attached which wasn’t comfortable at all it kept moving a part during night so we had to check out midnight and go to other hotel

−Room was right at the front close to bar / dinning area. There was a lot of loud door slamming / noise for most of the night.

+Bed was comfortable and staff was great.
−Was not able to sleep well due to the banging of the corridor doors throughout the night.
