+Metro station and airport train just in front of the hôtel door. Lot of restaurants and cafés next to the hôtel. The gym is nice for a hotel gym. Very confortable beds. Rooms are great.

「The hotel facilities and service standards fail to meet basic hospitality expectations. Firstly, essential amenities」
+Convenient location, but completely ruined by horrible management and staff behavior.
−The facility design and staff behavior here show absolute zero empathy for guests. Upon checkout, an older male 7-Eleven staff member took food packaging from a store bin, followed me into the lobby, and maliciously threw it onto the floor right at my feet as a personal retaliation. When I raised this harassment to the GLAD Mapo front desk, the staff put on a show of "trying to help," but in reality, they just deflected all responsibility, claimed "7-Eleven is not our business," and defended the store employee. There are ZERO public trash bins in the hotel lobby and no clear signage or guidance whatsoever for international travelers. A completely absurd, inhospitable setup paired with aggressive staff and a deflective front desk.

「Booked ahead of going to the airport」
+We booked this hotel for the last night of our holiday specifically because it was conviennent to get to from Seoul station (we were coming from busan) and then the airport. The staff are really friendly and the rooms of Seoul from the view are great. It’s clean and the beds are comfy. Compared to the other places we’ve stayed during our holiday, this hotel actually had a decent amount of storage if you like to unpack. There are some nice restaurants and bars close by. As we were only staying for one night we only really explored around the park.
−There’s only one pillow per person. One of the bedroom lights turns on automatically when you get up to go to the loo in the night, which is annoying when sharing a room with someone. The bathroom door is really loud as it closes, again a bit annoying in the night

+This was my second stay at GLAD Mapo, and I was very happy with it again. I loved the comfortable beds, the excellent breakfast and the great location right next to the metro. The staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel.
