+Driftwood loft was lovely and perfect for our stay it was comfortable and homely.
−It was a bit far away from the diff and drift race track in bishopscourt where our son was taking part in a competition.

「Perfect location, parked car right outside apartment, beautiful village and everyone was so friendly. Jo was at the end」
+Clean tidy and central location
−Everything was good for our visit. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property
+So central to Killyleagh. We walked down to the waterfront and the Smugglers Inn in under 10 mins. 1 minute too The Dufferin Arms.
−Hmmm. Nothing that could be changed.

「Beautiful seaside stay in an historic village」
+Great location, feels safe and near shops and cafes. Amazing sea view from the bedroom! The stunning castle is just up the road. The apartment is lovingly maintained with cooker, oven, fridge, washing machine and washing line in yard. Comfy beds, clean bed linen and towels. Friendly and communicative host.
−After paying in full, I got a message asking to pay another £300 via an outside link... then a request for another £150 on top of that! I did not pay either (I tried to pay the £150 extra requested 'deposit', seemed fair enough, but my bank flagged and rejected it). My trip went fine, but it was really worrying. I was unsure if the property listing was even truly real until I arrived. Still not sure if the extra money requests were a miscommunication, an automated bug, or the host was hacked in a scam.

「Driftwood Loft was a nice, cosy and warm place for us to stay while visiting family over Christmas.」
+The venue was very central in Killyleagh within easy walk of all local sites. We stayed to visit family over Christmas and it suited our purposes very well.
−Although we were able to manage, we did not have enough bath towels for our party of 4 and there were no bin liners for the bins. Easy WiFi access should also be a standard expectation for guests.

「Just the place for a weary group of pilgrims!」
+Location and being in the old main street
「Very good」
「Extremely bad value for money. Premium hotel price, charged for a substandard accommodation」
+Plenty to of space for 5 people
−No hot water for showers. Broken sofa bed in lounge area.An additional cost of £60 on the day, for 2 new guests, after renting the whole apartment. Code for keys wasn’t given until this extra charge was paid.

「Exceptional」
+host sent message in advance that he was unavalable and left instructions for collecting the key.
「Driftwood Loft」
+The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were only staying overnight but would be suitable for an extended stay.
−We weren't in the property long enough to find any faults with it.
