„Not the Best”
+Firstly i will say this Hotel is in a Perfect Location in Lamai, We had a Standard Room which we Found Dated and Dark, There is no Mirror in The Bedroom only above the Sink in the Bathroom, the Shower was Awful as it can only stay in one Position, we were on the Ground Floor so we could hear every movement above from the people staying in that Room, The Bed was Very hard so it was Uncomfortable, when we went for Breakfast the First Morning the Young Girl asked us our Room Number, but did not tell us anything about the Procedure for Breakfast she just said find a Table,it was only on the fifth morning i noticed a pad on the Desk that was for Poached or Scrambled eggs or Omelette that you could Order but we were not told this, the Breakfast was Not Great, i will Say though the Drinks from the Bar were well Priced. Sunbeds round the Pool need updating there are Heavy and Old, but really the Whole Hotel could do with a New Look.

„Bedtime rave”
+Lovely complex and gardens the staff are so friendly and the maintenance team are always working on the gardens and happy to greet cannot fault the staff. I wish we would have been allocated a different room and I think our experience may have been different. the complex is peaceful and quiet can hear the sea we often went to the bar until closing playing cards listening to the sea and then walking back to our room at the far end by the street in the 400s block we were 412.. you just hear a constant drum and base from around 10pm until 5am every night. we only realised on our last night where this was coming from there is aome sort of bar or club directly in front of this block and it is so relentless all night every night.. id recommend the hotel the facilities are great lovely pool right by the sea. food is fantastic. just bring earphones incase you are allocated in the rave block 😥😪 or pay the extra to get a garden room there is less chance of being allocated thos area then

„Hive Hotel at Lamai Beach - highly recommended”
+I stayed at the Hive Hotel in November for 4 days. The hotel is charming with chalet buildings set in tree lined gardens. I had a room with a balcony. The room was very clean and modern. The bed was very firm but I still got a good nights sleep. The AC is very efficient. The staff at Reception were very friendly, very helpful and well organised. The buffet style breakfast was excellent. I opted for the cooked breakfast, egg, toast, mushrooms, and cooked tomatoes. I didn't use the pool as it was raining most of the time, but it looked very nice. The buffet restaurant looks over Lamai beach. The beach is superb, very clean with beautiful sands and crashing waves. Hin Ta and Hin Yai granite rock formations are a short walk. Massages are available along the beach. Motorbike hire, restaurants and bars are close by. Wat Ratchathammaram temple is very near and well worth a visit. I would love to return in the future.

„Lovely hotel on the beach our 2nd visit this year”
+We love this hotel this was our second time staying here. Breakfast was delicious. Best part was the time of year as there were no sunbed hoggers it was great and would recommend this time again even the resort wasn’t as busy so it was perfect. We stayed in a bungalow and was perfect much brighter and bigger than the room we had last time so would recommend. No noise at all from the street. Staff lovely.

+The hotel is on a lovely beach, a short walk to restaurants and bars in a quiet location, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent for me as I like an English breakfast followed with a bowl of yoghurt fresh fruit, nuts/ seeds after a fresh cup of coffee from the coffee machine. The hotel restaurant in on the beach front a plus. The rooms are a few years old, but are nice with a comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the green walkways which connects the hotel complex. Would I stay here again, yes it gets my approval. The only problem was the shower water pressure was a bit erratic. I had a fantastic holiday with my son here who also loved it.

„Excellent chois if you want a calm yet central stay at Lamai.”
+Very nice hotel with swimming pool and restaurant/bar right on a wonderful area of Lamai beach. Not really crowded at all (last day of July 25). Rooms (we had ground level and I recommend) are facing a garden behind the reception, pool and beach, just 45 seconds walk really. Included buffet breakfast was a plus, really nice and varied (continental, Asian, nothing extraordinary but anything you might want) The main street behind the Hotel site is very central (still, not the most hot and central part of Lamai) but you will find a couple of good restaurants and a seven eleven right there, very close. Personnel is perfect, kind and professional. I will come here again, no doubt.

„Will be back!”
+Staying at the hive hotel in Lamai was so enjoyable. Friendly and helpful staff, amenities were clean and food was unreal. The location of the hotel was epic, sitting on the nicest area of the beach for swimming and right off the main road where shops/restaurants sit for dinner and night activities. Will definitely be back!!

„Lovely resort, lovely staff!”
+Lovely, relaxed resort in a great location on Lamai beach. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff are wonderful! The buffet breakfast caters for all tastes and was served in the dining room adjacent to the pool and beach area. So breakfast done and straight onto a sun bed! The resort is like a well-maintained jungle, and this meant quite a few mosquitos, the only negative thing we found. The resort does all it can to reduce this issue, but you will need repellant to hand when sitting outside your room!
+We have had amazing time while staying at The Hive in Lamai Beach. Could the rooms (especially the bathroom) do with a refresh? Probably, but the beautiful staff and wonderful location. The staff, from reception, to restaurant, to housekeeping and grounds could not be more welcoming or friendly. I look forward to returning sometime
