+The self service cold breakfast was modest but fine. We were OK with no staff entering our room during our 3-night stay and we loved the freedom to wander in the faded grandeur of the building. Great location and atmosphere.

„Great spot lovely view quiet grand rooms with big windows”
+Location amazing
−Building is tired and in need renovation We were the only guests using 6 rooms which were clean and very spacious- just needing an upgrade in decoration

„Potential is there but not quite reached. We captured and released a crow in the breakfast area.”
+The old-world charm of the manor house, as well as the view of the countryside and garden,
−Continental breakfast was advertised as included. It was, however, a help-yourself breakfast bar of pre-packaged items and the bread was mouldy on our last day.

„Not what I expected”
+Nice location, impressive building that had seen better days. Breakfast consisted of cereal packets, bread, toaster, kettle. Told to help ourselves, no kitchen staff, made our own tea and toast, a complete let down from what appeared on your advert as a grand looking establishment
−Messaged before arrival giving us code for front door as owner was not able to be there when we arrived. amazed to find that he was the only person working in the "Hotel ?"There was no Bar, no staff and we were the only visitors (Wife & Me). The lane up to the hotel was littered with deep potholes, The only good thing is the laughs we get on recalling our experience with our children
