+This lovely hotel was small, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. It was in a lovely residential area with a bus stop around the corner and only a 30 minute walk to the centre of Florence. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and attentive staff to help. The reason I picked the hotel was for the beautiful garden. Even though I communicated with the hotel I still wasn't sure if the garden was open until we got there......it was open but the bar and lower seating area was not as it was due to be refurbished and as there was nowhere else to sit other than in your room we tended to stay out later with other family members. I wish this had been detailed on the hotel when I booked it as I would not have chosen this hotel. All the pictures showed a beautiful garden with bar and plenry of places to sit. I cannot fault the staff who worked there. They were very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. I would stay at the hotel again but only if I knew the garden was open.
−The garden not being as shown in pictures and fully open duevto refurbishment.
