“Perfect place in Porto.”
+The location is right a the Douro River, across the historic "bridge" is Gaia, center of the port-vine, So looking out of the window is already a impressing sightseeing of Porto. Moments to enjoy the view and relax, is the real good breakfast or the final drink at night, sitting at the hotel terasse. The reception was really friendly and helpful.

“Fabulous smart apartment hotel overlooking the Douro.”
+Location is fabulous, looking over the Douro river. We booked an apartment in their adjacent building with views over the river. Beautiful spacious apartment with minor cooking facilities and modern compact shower room. 3 big windows for fresh air or efficient, quiet air conditioning. Good breakfasts and a tapas bar overlooking the river.
−The apartment was on the 2nd floor with no lift. The hotel made us very aware of this and helped with luggage. Porto has many hills so It could be a struggle to come back to more stairs. I found the storage facilities limited. I requested more coat hangers but there were no drawers or obvious spaces to place clothes. Housekeeping was good apart from our last day when the room was not cleaned until 16h00hrs. The Ribeira is a touristy area, very lively with buskers competing and lots of cafes and restaurants, most stopped by 23H00 hrs but It could be too noisey for some, so choose a quieter location.

“Porto: a place to return to again and again!”
+Awesome location. (It's right on the river so expect some noise from the music and crowds below). :) Clean, comfortable, and added touches were welcoming.
−A little tricky to find.

“Lovely Stay in Porto”
+Great location with easy access to riverfront activities on both sides of the river.
−Be aware that cars can't get to the hotel, so there will be luggage hauling involved.

+Location right on the river, among the restaurants and cafes, was perfect.
−It was a bit on the pricy side, but it was perfect for us.

“10/10 would recommend.”
+The view is incredible. The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved that there was a small kitchen area and the staff were so kind with helping us get our bags to and from our room.
−Finding the check-in was challenging for us - although, that was probably 100% user error. We just had trouble locating it from the train station.

“Beautifully updated old stone building in Porto’s livliest neighborhood.”
+Beautiful modern update while preserving the old charm of the stone building. Fun and lively location with live music outside our balcony each afternoon and evening. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
