“Comfortable for our purpose”
+We liked the character of the building. Clean and staff were very friendly. Especially the cleaning staff.
−I feel like the breakfast wasn’t to its full potential. The bacon tasted like steak, like the grill wasn’t cleaned from the night before and the tea wasn’t hot enough. However we did like the lay out of breakfast and the variety they had.

+Everything. The welcome, service, food, bedroom, parking and convenience. Many thanks and we will see you again.
−Nothing!!!!!
“Really loved it and will return.”
+The size of the room and the pub meals were great.
−The breakfast was somewhat basic, staff were great but not the best breakfast I have ever had. We were the only guests on the first night and although we arrived at the end of the suggested time slot, there was very little on offer.
“Comfortable room. Eat elsewhere.”
+Staff were friendly. Room was clean and well maintained. Ensuite was clean and roomy. Although this is a busy pub the noise level didn't disrupt our sleep.
−The food was up to the standard we expected. I ordered steak as it would be prepared just before It was served. The outside was burnt and the inside med- rare as I expected. Probably cooked on too high a heat as it was tough to eat. Lunch and dinner both came with chips. One slice of thin bacon for breakfast.
