“🚨 Genuine security risk here 🚨”
−Avoid this place, massive security risks here. We had booked for 2 nights ready for a wedding locally (28th Oct - 30th Oct). We went to check into our room at around 6pm, (room 7) with the pin code given to us in the confirmation emails. Upon opening the door, there were already guests in the room, who seemed just as shocked to see us opening there door as we were opening it 🤦♂️. We then tried to contact the hotel managers on the 2 numbers left in reception. Both of which went unanswered whilst calling a dozen times. We eventually left a voice message and a text in the hope we'd get a call back but nothing. It was getting late so we managed to book somewhere else. It's now 2 full days later and the hotel are still yet to come back to us (zero contact). Booking.com have confirmed a refund is being issued in 7-12 days, but no apologies, no answers just weird. Their automated system even messaged us to rub salt in the wounds.

−Hotel confirmed that we would get two twin rooms (as per our booking). However, we were given two double rooms. Heating was only on for a very limited time so the rooms were cold

+Excellent right in middle of llangollen. We let ourselves in and out. Had all info we needed.

“Great location in centre of Llangollen, lovely clean room.”
+Great location, easy check in. Lovely room with three single beds, really clean, newly refurbished with original features retained. Very quiet outside during the night (Sunday).
−Took quite a few attempts to do keypad on main door for some reason.
