“An Unforgettable Stay Filled with Warmth, Wonderful People, and Beautiful Memories!”
+Our stay was truly special, not just because of the comfortable accommodation, but because of the amazing people who made us feel so welcome. The hospitality was exceptional, and every moment was filled with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. A special thanks to Pema and Lemo for their wonderful service and for always being so friendly, polite, and helpful. Their warm smiles made our stay even more pleasant. Chef Tek deserves a special mention for the delicious food! The Pork Paa and Aloo Paratha were absolutely delightful and made our meals even more memorable. A big thank you to Manager Namgay for taking the initiative to start the conversation and for the wonderful morning trek. I truly enjoyed our engaging discussions, especially about India and Indian movies. It was a pleasure sharing those moments, and the experience made our mornings even more memorable and special. And then there was Sonam sir - the best part of our stay! ❤️ Thank you sir for sharing your special Ara in egg and, more importantly, for entertaining us with your exciting stories and experiences. Those conversations gave us a beautiful glimpse into local life and culture. A very special thank you for taking us
−I suggest keeping a landline phone in rooms, as contacting staff for services like water can sometimes be challenging.

“I’ve travelled to more than 60 countries - this is the worst property I’ve ever stayed in!”
+Absolutely nothing! - completely dilapidated property, badly needs renovation! Photos on booking.com are very misleading & misrepresentation - management has changed and property has gone downhill since then!
−Horrible experience! - no running hot water, Wi-Fi not working in room, dimly lit rooms in poor condition, poor service & completely understaffed! Road to the property also in very bad condition.
“Perfect hotel with nice staff”
+Excellent hotel. My room was spacious, nicely decorated and has a balcony that offers gorgeous views. The bathroom was wonderful and surprisingly, also has nice views. Staff were super kind, accommodating and friendly. I also met the owner who was nice and friendly as well. Dinner was good, they also invited me to watch how they make their traditional dish, Ema Datchi. I would highly recommend.
+Amazing view and very clean. Comfortable linen with a huge bed. Staff is the best ever, warm and hardworking. They even gave us a ride to a nearby town for lunch. The bathroom is great with hot water. We strongly recommend staying here.
−1. Food prep and variety needs improvement. They tried hard but more variety and trained cooking would be appreciated. 2. Chairs in the balcony were broken and the sunbed didn't have a mattress so couldn't use that either.
“Our favourite hotel of our entire Bhutanese trip - stunning views, beautiful natural place.”
+This was by far our favourite hotel of our entire Bhutanese trip. Really perfect place, amazing food, stunning views, cool rooms and bathrooms. Very, very magical. Great position overlooking the monastery. Highly highly recommend!

+Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting.
“A place you must stay”
+Enjoyed the hospitality, the view from the rooms and the spaciousness of the room and the bathroom. Pictures don't do justice to the size of the place.
−The drive to Wangdue Ecolodge is still muddy and felt a bit dangerous. However, the owner did mention that there was an approval for the tarring of the road.
