+Excellent location and very cheap for being in city centre .
−I felt the carpets need a really good clean, not just sprinkled with ordouriser. The curtains are in a bad state of repair. Shower needs to be warmer.

−It does the bare minimum. It's not a great place, to be honest. The room smelled strange, the whole building is very old and poorly maintained, and the walls seem paper-thin; you can hear everything.

+The hotel was very accessible to shops, church , park, river and garden. The room was huge and very clean.
−Just the small tv. And it was turned off at 11pm so we can't continue watching movies.

+The rooms are big with windows that can be opened to let in fresh air. The hotel is located in centre of town so access to entertainment venues, etc is great.
−On the day of checking out my key card is always deactivated about 9am. If I have more than one journey to clear my room I have to go to reception and get my card reactivated! My only complaint! The place is great!

+Great central location. Such cool old style rooms and hotel- very special and I love the high ceilings and gothic/contemporary style.
−Street noise while sleeping wasn’t very good but nothing the property can do. Could be the room I was in as I’ve stayed here before in a Friday night and not noticed the street noise. Central location is amazing otherwise.

−Hotel very tired. Things not working. Very noisy. Not enough staff. Didn’t feel safe. Very smelly and dirty.

−Needing to request lightbulbs so I could read comfortably. No comfy chair.
