“Great sweet place”
+Stayed here many times. Feel secure as solo traveller. Staff are great. Good bar and food if you need it.
−Room 3 was small. Some of the other rooms are more generous but not really a complaint as very good value for money

−Dog in area where food is served, was well behaved but not to my liking, if your in a pub okay but not where people are eating, just my opinion nothing against dogs,

“We always like staying at the Tyr Winch”
+Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a comfy king sized bed. The shower was decent. It was very peaceful, despite having the pub next door. The food in the pub was delicious. The carpark was very busy when we arrived but we found a space easily, after we returned from an evening at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, which is a 20 minute drive away. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the manager, Mike. This was our second stay here and we would definitely stay again when visiting Cardiff, as it is such good value for money, the location is good and the rooms are cosy and clean.
−I wish there was a fridge in the room, or breakfast available in the pub. I liked everything else.

“Comfortable, clean & exceptional food in the restaurant.”
+I was checked in very efficiently and a friendly staff member showed me to my room. The room was clean, as was the bathroom and the rainfall shower was amazing. The bedding and towels were clean and good quality, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The coffee and tea tray was sufficient. Television and Wi-Fi was good and I was able to work on my laptop whilst waiting on my dinner reservation time. The food in the pub/ restaurant was exceptional & I will definitely be back, should I be working in the area in the future.
