“I would stay there again mainly for the convenient location but will make sure I book rooms in the new wing”
+Located just in front of the Jaffna railway station, very convenient. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Restaurant on site has good food.
−Bathrooms were not well maintained. Toilet roll holder fell off the wall. Sink still had hair in it. Shower walls were not clean, soap residue was still very noticeable. There was hair surrounding the drain. Restaurant service is very slow and orders were missed out.

+The location is very convenient if you traveling by train. The staff were very professional. Our room was in the old wing so it was a bit old but clean. The breakfast buffet was the best! All the food at the restaurant was very good. Great value for money.

+Good breakfast, location.
−They could not cope with huge number of people, especially for breakfast and dinner.
+Breakfast was awesome; in general, the room was good
−Room cleanliness can be improved; dust was in the drawer and on other furniture.

“Convenient and comfortable hotel with great restaurant”
+Excellent location, about 200m from the railway station. Room was spacious and clean. Food at the restaurant was excellent and restaurant service was great. We were able to store our bags at reception after checking out. Would stay again.
−We were initially taken to a room in an adjacent property (Hotel Green Grass) which had black mould on the walls and ceiling and looked nothing like what we had booked. When we asked to change rooms, it was established that this was a mistake and we were taken to our correct room in the Valampuri Hotel - which was lovely. The pool water was a bit cloudy and not very appealing despite the hot weather.
