+An absolutely exceptional hotel in the heart of Gjirokastër! Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from the Old Bazaar, with the castle and other attractions easily accessible. What makes this hotel truly special is that it’s family-run. The family is incredibly welcoming, generous, and genuinely passionate about making their guests feel at home. Their hospitality and attention to detail are outstanding! The hotel itself is simply phenomenal. The architecture, beautiful interiors, excellent facilities, and charming atmosphere make it a destination in its own right. I absolutely fell in love with my room and every little detail throughout the property. The hotel is magical in the evening when beautifully illuminated, and equally breathtaking in the morning. Every corner has its own charm. I only stayed for one night, but I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. An unforgettable experience and easily one of the highlights of my visit to Albania. Highly, highly recommended!

−Da wir in der albanischen Währung Lek in Bar zahlen wollten, verlangte die Unterkunft einen Aufschlag von 11% auf den aktuellen Euro-Lek-Wechselkurs - egal ob mit Kreditkarte oder Bar. Das ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, warum man mehr zahlen soll, wenn man in der Landeswährung zahlen möchte. Sehr unsympathisch. Alle anderen Hotels, wo wir in Albanien waren, haben auch einfach den aktuellen Wechselkurs angewendet.

“Loved it”
+Beautiful rebuild / restoration in the Old Town. Comfortable, welcoming rooms and delicious food.

+Everything was great! Walkable to the old town via a shortcut, free parking, huge breakfast included. Lovely room and generally the hotel was pretty and well looked after.
−Not even a dislike really as it was fine, it's just a bit confusing on arrival as they sent a Google maps link which tells you to go right up the steep path to the bottom of the hotel steps, whereas in reality the parking is offsite back down near the main road, so we ended up having to reverse back down the steep road and they kind of acted like we shouldn't have driven right up in the first place, even though their link sent us there. But anyway all was resolved, I just think if you can, maybe have 1 of you wait down below on the main road somewhere in the car, whilst the other goes up to the hotel to check where they want you to park.

“Great value for money for the service received, beautiful hotel and lovely staff”
+I loved the building in itself it was beautiful and the seating area on the terrace was very welcoming and cosy. The interior was superb and the breakfast in the morning was a big selection of food brought to the table including fruit, cake and eggs with freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a lovely hotel to stay at.
