“Exceeded expectations”
+The welcoming, friendly staff, all very helpful and accommodating. Particularly the receptionist on check-in and both chefs. We had dinner and breakfast and were very happy with presentation and quality of both meals

“Good stay.”
+Good food. Good location. Friendly staff.
−Breakfast could have been better.
“A good pub made exceptional by the staff.”
+Good breakfast. Would have liked “proper” bread to go with homemade jam and marmalade. Two good evening meals but a salad or light fish dish would be good addition to menu. Super king bedroom excellent
−Nothing we didn’t like
+Lovely place. Really cosy with great foot and drink - and amazing breakfast. Also great price.
