+Got an upgraded room to room 103, it was an amazing room, the bed was huge and comfortable, the shower was great. Only issue I would say is the TV, as its recessed into the wall the sound echoes a lot making it hard to understand, but it takes nothing away from the overall experience.

−Misleading photos on website! Staff refusing to provide refund despite advising of them of difficult situation we were in and obliged to cancel last minute. Very very disappointing experience. Would never book here again.

“Nothing to fault! Thank you”
+Great location, big comfy bed and the Nespresso machine was a lovely bonus in the morning!! Unfortunately was in a rush so didn’t have time to order off the breakfast menu but the buffet was sufficient and the hot food looked delicious. Breakfast host (didn’t catch name) was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you.

+Great location and lovely period features. This was a return visit, and the stay was just as good as my first time here.
−The corridor outside our room was rather noisy, with heavy foot traffic, running, and housekeeping staff preparing for their morning rounds. On a positive note, breakfast was a marked improvement from last time, transitioning from a low-quality self-service buffet to freshly cooked dishes of a much higher standard. However, the filter coffee pots urgently need replacing, as they leak loose coffee grounds into the cup. We sent our first pot back because of this, but experienced the exact same issue with the replacement.

+Lovely historic buildings, lovely decoration, good breakfast service.
−Room was sometimes a bit cold, some of the areas a bit squeaky but only due to the historic features.
“Disappointing”
+The room was functional but without any character. The resturant was empty except for two very loud drunk men whcih staff who chatted to each other all the time didn't ask to lower their voices.
