“Room too cold.”
+A handy location for our needs. Self check in by phoning for the key lock box worked OK. The room was too cold for us, barely any heat from the radiators despite turning up the valves. Not what you need having been out on a cold wet day. We phoned the contact and asked for the heating to be turned up, but it didn't happen.

+Great location as we were driving back from a holiday, car park was easy to find and lots of space, rooms were very big considering the price.
−The bathroom sink had an almond? We were unsure about why it wasn't removed during cleaning. There were some stains on the carpet but not that big of an issue.

“Better than first appears”
+A clean spacious comfortable room with ok facilities
−The closing of the lounge brasserie and the absence of on site staff give an abandoned air.
+Central to the town
−No human interaction other than a phonecall to get the code to access your room key.
+Excellent location very good value for money and very clean with tea coffee bics and even little cartons of oat milk!

−Everything, had to check in remotely. It was very run down. Nothing to explain limited facilities. Wasn’t warned the main part of the hotel closed. No alternative offered

−The mattress should have been replaced YEARS ago. Very little lighting available in the room.
