+Lovely hotel. Classic and old-fashioned but that's what's so nice about it. Room wasn't massive but wasn't expecting it to be and it had everything I needed. Small but nice fitness centre and spa/pool area. Great food, too - had both breakfast and dinner. Bar area is nice and cosy, too.
−Fairly minor, but hadn't finished my dinner and was asked if my plate could be taken when I'd paused for a moment and felt a little rushed after.

“Good hotel with friendly staff.”
+Super friendly staff. Clean. Good facilities. Location was also great. Breakfast was well cooked, although the coffee could be improved.
−Bed was a little too soft for my liking so uncomfortable, but that's my personal preference. The decor was dated (but I suppose it fitted the hotel theme). Slightly expensive.

“A pleasant stay”
+Very nice features. The food was very good and the service was good also. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable.
−We were told that if we arrived early we would be able to get a snack in the bar. What they didn’t mention was that we would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes because they were busy. I also didn’t like that guests had to pass through the restaurant with their bags and cases to get to the car park.

“Great place.”
+Staff were very attentive and helpful. Hotel is rich in character And the rooms are wonderful. There was a large group of us with children and they opened the rear garden just for us; very thoughtful.
−That we hadn’t booked to stay longer!
