“Lovely grounds but would not return.”
+The grounds were lovely. The staff was friendly.
−When we arrived, we were told that the room we had booked had been given to someone else and they no longer had the suite we reserved and paid for in advance. This was extremely disappointing as we were looking forward to the large private hot tub. We were told that we would be given a free dinner to make up for their error. We took a look at the menu and decided to accept their offer. Unfortunately when we were seated for dinner, we were given a different menu with limited selections. We settled on the vegetable lasagna which seemed more like a thick soup / chowder with very little flavor. Very disappointing as this was our last night and final meal in Italy. The bed was very firm and the mattress was lopsided with dips in the mattress. Not a comfortable nights sleep. We awoke to the sounds of gunshots as there was a shooting range next door. I did not see this disclosed in the booking description.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the brief time spent there and hope to visit again. Thank you. The food, in particular, was absolut”
+It was a quiet, soothing place, like an antidepressant; it was clean, the food was incredibly delicious, and the service was excellent.
−What we didn't like was that the receptionist demanded payment for additional meals without checking the facts or informing us; we had to go and verify the situation ourselves to confirm that we didn't owe anything. Others should be aware of this.

“Nice for a short trip but you need a car to get around!”
+Charming and surrounded by nature and the building itself is nice and restaurant was good and staff in general were very accommodating and professional.
−First night our bed had ants in it and we were moved rooms immediately. There were events (parties) on 3 of the 4 nights we were there (a romanian or slavic birthday party playing loud music), second night some techno party which was near the pool area both had what seemed to be fireworks at the end going past 00h30, and a conference on the third day where the crowd attending gathered smoking and talking loudly just in front of our room early in the morning. We were not informed beforehand and were expecting a calm stay given the location.
