“Not a place I would want to return visit, but shower, hot water and pressure was good.”
+It was an older building needing lots of TLC. Could tell effort to keep clean but still has bug issues. Quiet neighborhood, off the main trafficked area but still in town.
−Just the bugs, brought none of my bags or clothes in except personal cleaning suplies ,meds, and change of clothes for after shower, didn't want to take home any bugs to infest my house, made me uneasy of falling asleep.
“Someone callled cops and lied said me & my lady was fighting which was not true.”

“This is my go-to motel when I stay in town, but this stay wasn’t good”
+It had hot water and working AC and parking lot
−The first issue is, they said I didn’t have a bookie, when I showed them my confirmation email he said I didn’t pay. When I showed him my receipt, he didn’t wanna give me a key because he couldn’t find it on his end. When I told him to take a screenshot of both my emails from booking.com the confirmation from Ranch Motel and the receipt he still didn’t want to give me my key. Then he said he’s gonna try and he’s gonna give me the key, but I have to come in the morning in case I need to pay. The second issue was roaches. There was a big spot or a smashed roach was and little roaches running around. The third issue was the refrigerator did not work, I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it still did not work in the freezer didn’t keep anything frozen. Then the neighbor next-door had two little small dogs who barked all night, and then around 6 o’clock in the morning, they were barking again loud while he was walking them around the parking lot.
+The only part I liked was having a roof over my family's head in an emergency situation. That and the view of the mountain in the morning was pleasant.
−When booking our room we specifically looked for lodgings that allowed pets. When I mentioned this to the man who checked me in he seemed extremely put out by the fact that we had a dog. The two gentlemen there then said they'd have to change their details on booking.com because they are no longer a pet friendly facility. The hotel room was clean enough, but was in desperate need of renovation. The knob for the room didn't want to turn properly. The bathroom door would get stuck. there was only a small gap between the sink and shower to squeeze in. I didn't trust it for myself or my kids because it just didn't look very clean. The mini fridge didn't seem to work. We also booked a room for two queen beds and the beds seemed to only be doubles. We were having car trouble because of a blown radiator. We asked if we could just use the parking lot, of which there was plenty of room as there was only one car in the whole place, and they said no and we needed to check out soon. Keep in mind we have two toddlers and a dog with us and had nowhere else to go other than limp our car a mile down the road to AutoZone. All in all the stay was unpleasant from start to finish. I'm not one to compl

+The location to restaurants and shops and family.
−The floors were dirty, sheets stained, the shower drain was covered was not screwed down, the door knob on the bathroom door was falling off, the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile.
