“Nice.”
+Good Location. Near Tram. On road parking nearby. Nice pub atmosphere. Noise not too bad on upper floor and stopped at 11.30ish when closed. Access possible after close of pub. A little dated but good place for putting your head down for the night.
−A little cool but weather had become cooler fairly quickly that week so no time to warm up. I would bring long pyjamas next time I stay in Autumn.

“A fabulous one night stay in Sheffield with great accommodation and welcoming hosts.”
+A fabulous one night stay. Hosts were really friendly and helpful and we felt at home before we were even shown our room. Hotel was booked on room only basis - room was very clean and comfortable, bathroom / shower facilities were excellent with nice fresh towels and a lovely selection of shower gel and shampoo conditioner products. Tea and coffee products available were also great quality. The bar was an added bonus offering a good selection of drinks to suit all. Although there is not a restaurant at the hotel, there are plenty of local takeaway options for guests to enjoy. Location was perfect for us too - close to local shops and Hillsborough football ground. Highly recommend the Queens Ground - and its super hosts - to any traveller visiting Sheffield. Look forward to our next visit.

“Very friendly staff”
+Very warmly welcomed (even though we were Bradford City Fans). Issued with a parking permit so parking wasn’t a problem. Bathroom was clean and modern with a powerful hot shower. Comfortable room. Cheap drinking and a very satisfying pint of Coors. 20 minute walk to the Hillsborough Ground.

+Friendly helpful staff. Very cheap beer! Decent pub and beer garden. Spacious bedrooms.

−Could do with some work damp patches in places not much room in the bathroom, right next to the team tracks . But you have to except that from a old pub building
