“Great location and ok stay in a pinch but not comfortable!”
+Location was great walking distance from main shops and restaurants! Easy in and out. The building itself is very old and kinda neat… the lady that works the day shit was very kind. The balcony was nice !
−The rooms are misleadingly tiny the full size bed barely fit in there! Which was like sleeping on a boxspring with no springs!!! We had one with a private bathroom, however the common bathroom was next to our room # 322 and every time someone used it all through the night the doors slam and woke us up! Also 0 soundproofing can hear everything going on in halls next door and on the streets! The shower: I think if you can manage showering when no one else is it may be ok however at 7am the water goes from scolding hot to ice cubes in 3 seconds followed by a power struggle of water pressure!!! The man that works evenings is completely rude and will hang up on you if u ask a question…. Elevator is tiny , and they’re not helpful with transport AT ALL , don’t even ask he will hang up in your face …

“A great short break in Athens - Hopefully I will return!”
+The hotel is conveniently located in Plaka, near all the main sites. The room (213 - Double Room with Private External Bathroom and Balcony) was a good size with a nice balcony view of the Acropolis (to be specific, the walls of the Acropolis citadel not the Parthenon itself). The room contained a fridge but I didn't use it. Also a small sink. The private shower room is actually across the landing. A bit different, but I guess no different to most homes! You are given keys to both the room and bathroom and it is for the use of that room only, so I could leave some of my toiletries and bath towel in it. The wifi was good and it was included so I'm not sure why the question above says 'paid wifi' as there was no extra charge. I stayed for three nights but I didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on that. I would consider staying at Hotel Phaedra again and I hope to return to Athen again someday to see the things I missed.
−For the price I paid, it was a good deal so there is nothing I didn't like about the hotel. I wish I had used the balcony more and I wish the weather had been better for the second half of my stay!

“not what we expected and wouldn't stay there again”

−the handle of the door was loose which led to us being worried about the access to our room. When we told the staff, they didn't believe us had to walk from the main road due to a gas leak near by which we weren't informed about Room was very small with barely any room
