“Could have done a lot better considering the location.”

−Very slow service, resturant was dirty, needs a deep clean, rooms were clean however.

“Wonderful Gem”
+Beautifully decorated, friendly atmosphere, room was clean and cosy. We had dinner there for which was exceptional and breakfast the following day was delicious. We stayed for our wedding night and was exactly what we hoped for.

“Overnight mid-week overnight stay”
+Everything, easy to find, all staff welcoming and friendly. Lovely feature room overlooking the Exe, well appointed bathroom. Very well stocked mini bar/goodies which if you wanted you of course had to pay for, but tea, coffee biscuits all free and fresh milk too, thank you! We ate in the restaurant in the evening, really good menu, wide choice (it was very busy for mid'week) and breakfast excellent in the morning. Will definitely try more St Austell pubs with accommodation as we were so impressed - also had the best night's sleep I have had for a long time too!

“Stayed here for anniversary treat , certainly didn't disappoint.”
+Breakfast cooked to order all local produce and served on hot plates . . . Lovely view of baby swans on the Exe

“Another few nights in Exeter”
+We have been here before and love it due to its location close to Exeter City Centre, the parking , cosy rooms and excellent breakfast. Staff are always happy to chat, from housekeeping to front of house.
−The only window you can open in the room, is in the bathroom, small compressor outside is sometimes on. Nice patio doors, but can’t realistically open during the night.
