+It was so peaceful and close to what we needed. It was also very nice to be personally welcomed it’s what I love about country life and small communities.

+Bac and Jeff were lovely they made us feel so welcome. Place was modern and very clean. Amazing local milk butter and bread were provided for our stay! Comfy beds and the grounds were well kept and beautiful. Cows and horses next door, jetty only a few mins walk away

“Beautifully presented property but very cold in winter.”
+Staff were terrific and a delight to deal with. Location was OK but , for us oldies, a bit far to walk to the pub for dinner at night....so we drove there. Nice big fridge and a loaf of fresh bread for breakfast was there on arrival. The place was spotlessly clean with good cooking facilities. Parking and general layout of the property attractive.
−We had booked a "Deluxe Family Room" which was supposed to be 1 Single, 1 Bunk and 1 Large Double bed because we sleep in separate beds. Instead the room was 1 Large Double in the main room and a 2-bed Bunk (1 up and 1 down) in a separate room. The room was freezing because I suspect the cabin was not insulated properly - even with the reverse cycle unit going. Liberal use of floor rugs would have helped.

−Walking through the kids room to access the bathroom. However there's a spare bathroom at the end of the block of units.
