−Cocktails overpriced and poorly made, not made aware of dog charge at time of booking. £25 extra for one night is ridiculous Sound proofing between rooms was bad. One of two lifts not working so took a while to get to room. Lighting in rooms is terrible Rooms/hotel too hot!

+The location and friendly staff
−Generally it felt tired and in need of a makeover. The restaurant felt cold and draughty. Although there was a bar adjacent to the restaurant we were asked to go to the basement bar for pre-dinner drinks. We had a suite. In it we had a bath adjacent to our bed - to be honest a sofa would have been more practical. Our shower room was extremely compact.

+It had a lovely highland feel and was in a really great location. Close to train station, shopping and local attractions.

“Enjoyable with very helpful staff.”
+Breakfast choice was superb. All staff were extremely helpful. A light in my bathroom wasn’t working but it was attended to immediately
−The Brasserie was cold first thing in the morning.

+Another lovely stay thanks again to Lewis who booked the room for us, we really enjoy staying at this hotel and hope to go back soon. Special mention and thanks to the housekeeping team the hotel is spotless, every room we have had has been perfect
