“If you want cheap, a few minutes to the center and you don't mind the dirty Neighborhood”
+Neighborhood is scary and very dirty .The hotel is old. Staff were nice . Room clean .Shower curtain , all the water comes out .For one two nights is just ok . you need to park the car a few minutes walk in a parking that cost 10 euros a day .The location as walking to the center is not bad . At night there are a lot of drug addicts and working girls .Its not the hotels fault . That area in Athens

“No frills, friendly and convenient.”
+Really convenient for metro. Lovely guy on reception who made me feel welcome and safe travelling solo. Bed was very comfy. No frills room but it was all I needed. (Fabulous towels). I didn’t try breakfast. Great value.
−People have mentioned sketchy location but no worse than some streets in my UK home city. I didn’t feel unsafe and in some ways a relief to be out of the tourist hubs. One quibble was shower hose was a bit leaky but plenty of hot water.

+The hotel is pretty much in the city center, close to the subway, hop on hop off bus, easy walk to the sights. The place was nice and clean, it was actually cleaned every day, and the room was a very good size. The staff was helpful and friendly, they even made our room available much earlier than expected.
−The breakfast would need some improvements, there was not a huge variety, and it felt really low quality.
