+Nice quiet hotel literally 2 minutes walk to the main street. Nicely appointed room with fridge & microwave, decent shower. Very nice breakfast, coffee was really good.. Really great location for some fantastic drives on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Friendly staff.
−I did find the bathtub to be slippery when showering, a rubber mat may resolve the issue. The lighting in the bedroom area was very dim with only 2 bedside lights. This is not a criticism of the hotel but the local restaurants have limited opening hours & only El Charro & Doghouse Brewery were open when we visited.

“Very friendly staff, walk everywhere location, I would stay again.”
+Location, easy parking, windows that opened with screens, good breakfast, reasonably priced snacks, outside seating.
−The artwork in our room all jewelry photos, and an outside machine humming 24/7. No hand bars to steady yourself entering the tub. ( no shower)
