“A much needed 1 night stay for an emergency”
+This was an emergency rushed booking. I did not know it was a love hotel, I did not understand the necessity of leaving in the morning (11 AM) and having no access to the room til the following night (7 PM). The staff worked exceptionally well and helped me hash it out with Booking.com to cancel this 2 week booking and change it to a 1 night stay to let me find another hotel (after my original booking fell through leaving me stranded). To reiterate, the staff was great. The room was also quite nice for one night's stay and included a large tub with epsom salts I took advantage of.
−It is what it is. Not their fault booking.com doesn't have a specific "Love Hotel" tag to make it obvious what the buyer's expectations should be. I'm sure it was all there in the fine text; I just didn't catch it cause I was off the back of a several hour long last minute cancellation of an Airbnb debacle. For anyone in my position, know that you can't stay in this room for the middle 8 hours of the day.
