+The location was superb, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. The food was delicious, the breakfast was amazing, and everything about our stay was simply wonderful. From the location to the hospitality and overall experience, everything exceeded our expectations. It was truly an amazing stay, and I must say, I loved every bit of it. Highly recommended!

“Great breakfast, great service!”
+Cassendra is a very well maintained resort. The staff are courteous and helpful, and extremely prompt with any requests. The breakfast spread was excellent and substantial. They had sausages, eggs, pancakes, dosa with sambol, puri with aloo Gobi and dhal, a nice chicken curry, and fruits along with tea and coffee. I would recommend this place.

+We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Cassendra. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a fascinating view that greeted us as soon as we opened the door. It was truly a delightful surprise and made our stay even more memorable. A special thanks to Mr. Imantha at the reception, who was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. Even though the kitchen was already closed, he went out of his way to arrange food for us. This level of hospitality and personal care really made a difference. We booked through Booking.com and were absolutely pleased with our choice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with beautiful views and genuinely warm hospitality in Kandy!

+Easily the best property we stayed at in Sri Lanka (across Colombo, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya). The rooms and locations are beautiful, and the service will truly exceed your expectations. We loved the provision of a ceiling fan - it's so hard to get good ventilation going to dry anything out with central air conditioning. The room service was responsive, breakfast set menu (they were not offering a buffet during our stay due to low occupancy) was excellent, and overall, Cassendra is the place to be if you want to feel truly welcome and cared for in Kandy. It's also within easy walking distance (with a steep decline though) of the truly exceptional Timber Cabin restaurant at the Hotel Rivora which we highly recommend in Kandy. Keep in mind though that this is not Kandy city center and 20-30 minute walk with very steep declines is required if you want to stroll down to the Temple of the Tooth Relic etc.
−Just a minor issue that the bathroom was difficult to ventilate as there did not appear to be a fan in there.

−Didn't find it a 4 star hotel. So a bit of expectation mismatch. It is more like a 3 star hotel with 4 star rating.
