+Nino et son équipe sont des licornes.
−La seule est unique chose que je pourrais critiquer c’est que ma chambre n’avait pas de fenêtre mais un velux qui en soit n’aurait pas posé problème mais comme il pleuvait je ne pouvais pas donc écouter les chants des moines car je ne pouvais pas laisser le velux d’ouvert. Par contre j’ai pu voir que ma chambre était la seule sans fenêtre, donc pas de souci et la prochaine fois je demanderai une autre chambre.

+Location was great; and the breakfast was lovely with homemade pancakes, jam and yoghurt
−Arrival instructions lacked as you would need to contact the hotel upon arrival by car; in this case there was a celebration going on and the police would not let us pass; they got aggressive, etc. quite unpleasant and avoidable. If you come by car; just let the hotel know exactly when they should come meet you so they can open the barrier for you at the beginning of the street.

“Lovely stay with lovelier hosts”
+The wee hotel is run by a Georgian couple who are quite atypical of the Georgians we have encountered so far,courteous to a fault, soft-spoken, mild mannered, simply hospitable and so lovely. The lady who prepares and serves breakfast is an absolute delight. She does more than simply put food on the table; she introduces us to Georgian cuisine with such warmth and genuine hospitality that, for the first time since arriving in Georgia, we feel truly welcomed as guests in the country. There is something quite special about being introduced to a country’s food and culture by someone who makes you feel at home rather than like just another tourist. Sometimes, it is the people who make a place memorable, not merely the places themselves. We also love the hotel’s indoor lounge and rooftop terrace, where we can sit back and gaze at the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery. The contrast is almost comical: madness outside, tranquillity within. 😌 It is an oasis where we can retreat from the crowds, drink an ice cold lemonade, savour the views and let the world carry on without us for a while. After our experiences so far, this little haven has been a most welcome repriev
−Every time we enter, we have to call the owner to open the gantry and gate. On the day we arrived, the church was celebrating an occasion, and the police refused to let us wait for the gantry to open. We ended up having to circle around the traffic jam three times before we could get in.

“False advertisement”
+Owner was very nice, sweet, location very good
−Every room was advertised city view, I had a wall in front, bed not comfortable, bed sheets polyester. I had to sleep on towels. Can't stand polyester bedding.
+The hosts were wonderful, good breakfast, private parking. Nice view from terrace. Good shower, clean room.
−Last room which is closest to the road is very noisy, windows dont really isolate the noise. At morning daylight comes in too early.

“This is a place one wants to come back to.”
+The property was very clean cozy and we felt right at home. Upon our arrival, the host Nino was very welcoming. The terrace was so pleasant with a wonderful view of the Cathedral. The breakfast was very tasty. During our stay, we also looked at other places for future visits for a bigger group, and we understood that we did the right choice staying here, this place was one of the best. Also, the reality of this place is so much nicer than the pictures. If you like the pictures, you will like the place even more.
