+L’emplacement
−Un manque de propreté évident dans la chambre : de nombreux cheveux retrouvés au sol ainsi que dans la douche. En passant simplement un morceau de Sopalin sur le sol, celui-ci est ressorti complètement noir, ce qui en dit long sur la qualité du ménage. Mais le plus gros point négatif reste sans hésitation le petit-déjeuner, de très loin le pire de tout notre séjour en Égypte ! Mention spéciale au petit-déjeuner à emporter pour notre excursion à Abou Simbel, qui était une véritable catastrophe. Malheureusement, celui servi sur place le lendemain n’était guère mieux. Une énorme déception !

“Not great and certainly sadly not Hapi!”
+Location was easy to access the promenade but that’s about it.
−Not a welcoming place sadly and looks a little in need of some basic care. Staff took a long time to check us in, room was basic and with no hot water on the first day until it was fixed on the second time of asking. Couldn’t even bring us a cup of tea when we wanted and no milk at all in the hotel.

“Well located, clean hotel with friendly staff”
+The breakfast was fine, and it was centrally located. We left for the airport at 5am, and could get a good breakfast to go. We got it evening before and put it in the room fridge overnight. You could also order it for early morning when you left.
−The wifi was included but was pretty slow, so not much use for watching videos and some sites took so long to load that I gave up. But it was OK for emails. This was the only reason I gave the room 3 out of 4: it was fine otherwise.

“I would only recommend this hotel for a short overnight stay if you're planning to board a cruise.”
+The hotel was actually better than it looked in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. If you're planning to take a cruise, the location is very convenient, as it's just a short distance from the harbour.
−The hotel had virtually no facilities to offer. The restaurant area was noticeably outdated, with old, worn-out furniture that desperately needed replacing. The breakfast was extremely disappointing and so unappetising that it completely put us off eating.
