+Everything
−There are no proper paths to walk through the gardens
+Super location Attentive and friendly staff Great food
−Rooms need TLC look a little tired.
+The staff were fantastic. The food was excellent.
−The room was too hot and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Also unfortunately they had a problem with lots of little flies. I got bitten in the night.

“Relaxing and peaceful”
+A place of real character. Good staff. Peaceful
−Nothing
+The location, the staff, the food.
−Unfortunately we arrived during a heatwave and room - Merlin - was like an oven.
“Marvellous hotel”
+We arrived to a lovely welcome and shown to our rooms. Had afternoon tea served out under a tree in the hotel grounds. We all agreed it was absolutely lovely, with the most super scones! The hotel rooms are really well equipped and super comfy beds Our evening meal was superb, we all enjoyed the wonderful food complimented with a lovely bottle of wine from the wine list. Breakfast was a meal that didn't disappoint at all. We all really enjoyed our stay, the location, garden and the buildings are so impressiveevery staff member was so friendly and had time to stop and talk. There's absolutely nothing to complain about, and recommend this hotel to all our friends.

“Fabulous and friendly base to explore the coast.”
+Ok we reduced the average age of guests by somewhat BUT we would stay again! Fantastic location, friendly staff, comfy bed, divine food, lovely grounds. Shout out to Molly who is an asset to the team with her warm and joyful attitude at breakfast! Paul was friendly too and nothing was too much trouble! Ben on the bar was welcoming too! Super team!
