+Food was good. View from room was awesome.
−Desserts were very low quality single pieces wrapped individually screams not fresh. Apple pie had a funny taste to it.

“Delightful hotel with a rustic lodge vibe and clean modern rooms.”
+Modern rustic is a good description. The authentic lodge vibe of the woods, with all the things you need to be comfortable and content. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Great start before heading into the Boundary Waters. Nice folks. Great view of the lake. They also have a dock where you can rent boats or use their paddle bicycles. It's so awesome. They have a nice indoor pool and hot tub area. Pillows and beds were super comfy. I will definitely be back.

+Great location to access town and local sights
−Rustic style of room perhaps needed a bit spiffing up. However nice view to lake and we had a glass door out to ground level which was pleasant .

+The breakfast was decent. It was convenient to go to the restaurant in the morning. However, we wanted to order a late night snack around 9 PM and the kitchen was closed.
