“A perfect stay”
+The location was perfect walking distance to the attractions. Having the home cooked breakfast in an elegant room overlooking the water. Free cold bottled water available. A beautiful room with a large and comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff
−No safe in the room

“Perfect choice!”
+Awesome location with a view of St Augustine from our deck - even saw a shark! Delicious, hearty homemade breakfast. We also enjoyed the evening social hour. We enjoyed walking over the bridge and straight into downtown. Welcoming staff and a great place!

+Struttura molto carina, con posizione fronte acqua e piscina. A 5 minuti di passeggiata superando un ponte (carino) dal centro di st augustine. Consiglio!!

“A great place to enjoy the river with proximity to all the best of st Augustine”
“Outstanding facility … will definitely come again”
+Loved the location, staff, and view was fantastic
“A comfortable hotel in an excellent location at a great price.”
+An old-style hotel on the Matanzas River at the foot of the Bridge of Lions, offering spectacular views of the historic city from your comfortable chairs right out your room door. I highly recommend upgrading your stay to a river view room. You will not be disappointed. An afternoon social hour with cheese and wine, and an excellent breakfast elevate the stay.

“Excellent service”
+Comfy beds. Clean room. Daily HOMEMADE breakfast. Daily social hour! On the water, bay view! Daily sightings - dolphins, birds, crab, and fish! Private porch with rocking chair. Uncrowded.
−A few of the boards on the deck will need replaced soon. Didn't deter my enjoyment.

“Okay for one-night stay in beautiful St Augustine”
+Standard type motel room. It was okay for a one night stay. The picture is taken from the window of the breakfast room.
−An old-fashioned AC was too noisy to keep it on during the night but too hot to sleep without it. We got a room without the view of river like most of the rooms have so that wasn't cool. We hope that we paid less for the room without a view, but we don't know. There was a breakfast, but don't count on it because it's nothing.
