“Relaxing and cozy”
+The all hotel was very charming, we loved the room with the bath and also the restaurant. Thank you for allowing willow (our greyhound) to roam around free

“Deeply disappointing and poor value for money. A place to avoid.”
+Cheerful staff
−Shabby bathroom. No hot water in shower. Reported but no action. Cracked washbasin and unsecured taps. Towel rail fell to bits. Coffee machine didn't work. Ran out of cornflakes for breakfast. Booked and arranged for payment on arrival, but hotel took the money anyway before I arrived. Not a cheap hotel.

“Nice location for brands hatch but needs some TLC”
+The meals we had at dinner were a high standard and looks like it was all cooked from scratch.
−When we got to the hotel the staff wanted me to pay for our room that I had already paid for. Had to show them proof that I had paid for it on my banking app. We also got given the wrong room and they only realised half an hour later before they moved us. The hotel could do with a bit of TLC, carpet stuck down with staples on the landing and paintwork needs touching up. Just a bit run down. The service was really slow at dinner and breakfast. I had to go up to ask to be served and it wasn’t even full capacity. My partners breakfast came out cold and they also served people their breakfast first before ours when we were there before them.

“Convenient but pricey.”
+Convenient location for Brands Hatch. We didn’t eat there so cannot comment about breakfast, which was included in the price, but we had an early start each morning.
−Hairdryer was ancient and stopped working. No staff about at 7.10am but replaced when staff appeared about 10 minutes later. Shower screen over bath was not long enough so the tiled floor got wet. It was also overpriced, but our usual pub was fully booked.

“1 night stay”
+The bed was comfy and the coffee machine in the room was great. Lots of choice for breakfast. I had a full English and it was huge, the staff member who checked us in was lovely.
−The bathroom was very small, the ceiling creaks the people above us woke us up at 1:00 walking around for about a hour, maybe the floor boards need looking at, coming down for breakfast we waited for around 10 minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen even though we had to book a time the night before, another couple came down a few minutes after us and waited aswell, we didnt know if we should just take a seat so just waited at the bar, maybe a note or sign would be helpful saying take a seat or a bell to ring to let staff know people are waiting.

“Enjoyable stay, lovely food nice staff , and a great little village just off the motorway.”
+Lovely quirky pub , very clean room, excellent staff . The food was really good, both the breakfast and dinner .
−Bathroom in our room was quite tight space wise but that’s the nature of the building … don’t let that put you off staying here. One of the chairs in our bedroom could do with being replaced , hence our 9/10
