+Very convenient location in the heart of Bacharach with dedicated parking. Great breakfast.

“Prima en prachtig hotel. De moeite waard.”
+Het hotel ligt midden in het centrum. Prachtige ligging en netjes. Heel mooi gebouw en prachtig ingericht. Ik miste een koffie en theevoorziening op de kamer omdat er in het hotel verder niets is. Ze zijn eind van de middag weg en alles is donker en stil. De kamers worden ook niet schoongemaakt maar kan op verzoek. Je kunt op de gang handdoeken pakken en andere spullen die je nodig hebt. Er is een bak voor gebruikte handdoeken. Het ontbijt is prima. Keurig en lekker.
−En bar waar je wat drinken kunt halen was leuk geweest. Verder viel er niets tegen. Ik had koffie en theefaciliteiten op de kamer fijn gevonden.

+The breakfast was great. the room was spacious and well lit. The bed was comfortable and plenty of towels and toiletries were available. There is a lift even though this is an old building. There is a small supermarket with a good selection of food.
−The restaurant is no longer available and dinner options in the town are limited. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The car parking system is good once you have checked in but this means parking on the street at the beginning of your stay to do so.

“Rheinromantik und Welterbe”
+Das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich geführt. Es strahlt - wie der gesamte Ort - die Pracht vergangener Zeiten aus, da Urlaub am Rhein nur noch für Ausländer Radreisende und Wanderer attraktiv zu sein scheint. So hat auch dieses Hotel seinen Restaurantbetrieb eingestellt und bietet nur noch ein - reichhaltiges und gutes - Frühstück an.

“A lovely village which we always enjoy very much, but next time in another property.”
+We have stayed at the property before and have always found the management and staff very pleasant and helpful. The property is in a perfect location. The apartment we stayed in was extremely comfortable and very well equipped, although I had not realised that our appartment was on the top floor, with a lot of stairs to negotiate.
−When I went to check in I found the manager fairly unwelcoming, especially as we had stayed at least four or five times either at the hotel itself or in one of the apartments. There was barely a smile from him and also we went to the apartment block where we had stayed previously, not knowing that we were in another one nearby, so we had to return to the hotel for directions. He should have told us exactly where when we checked in. We very much like the village, but we are reluctant to return to the Altkolnischerhof because of their casual attitude. When you come back to a hotel you like and where you have stayed various times, it is strange to be treated so casually.

“Recommended. A great choice”
+Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Fresh and lots of choice. Comfortable bed. Nice towels in bathroom.

+Lage, Ausstattung, Check in und Check out sehr unkompliziert
−Altglas im Küchenschrank, Gefrierfach vereist, Bad lange nicht richtig gereinigt. Haare der Vorgänger noch überall auf dem Boden verteilt. Spiegel, Ablagen etc. sehr staubig. Fernseher konnte trotz Kompatibilität nicht mit dem Internet verbunden werden.

“Fantastic stay!”
+Fantastic stay! Perfect for a family of five. Loved the restaurants near by, the bakery and all the walks. Very handy to have the small supermarket across the street available too. Would absolutely recommend.
