+Friendly welcome from Fraser set the tone. Can't fault anything, 2 story apartment, very clean, tidy and comfortable, location was perfect for us, stayed 2 nights, very good rates, without a doubt we will be back as family have moved to Nelson. Happy to recommend to all Thanks Fraser and team.
−Driving around Nelson, I needed Google maps on all the time.

“Very comfortable well equipped room, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable bed.”
+Very well equipped room which was spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Location is close to the main activities.
−There is road noise but its not a major problem. The value for money this place offers is excellent.

“Accommodation Quite Close to Nelson”
+The location was good. Our room and bed were comfortable, with reading lights available. The room was a good size. The manager is friendly and always up for a chat.
−There was only one very small saucepan, but we made good use of the electric frypan. The Fridge was small and its freezer section wasn’t very effective. The heavy door to the main corridor (we were in room 7) is stiff and quite hard to push open, especially when your arms are full (checking in or out).

“This place is cheap and cheerful and like old school NZ motels. Its clean and a pleasant walk to shops and restaurants.”
+Old school, simple and clean. Guests are all very quiet. Plenty of parking.Walking distance to town.
−There is nothing not to like about this place if you want affordability.

“You get what you pay for! Cheap Accommodation but okay for a short stay”
+Good location. Clean and comfortable bed. Cheap accommodation. Okay for one night.
−Booking.com offered a free upgrade with a bigger deck and a garden view because I'm at Genius level. I accepted. When we checked in and we were shown our room. The 'deck' was a narrow path looking at an overgrown hedge with a cheap plastic chair. Over the hedge was a very busy road. I pointed out that we had got an upgrade but the man said it was a booking.com problem and not his. He said the owners were away and he was filling in for them. He was very dismissive. The room was okay but the breeze block walls weren't very attractive. There was a hole in the bathroom wall and the sink was cracked . The paintwork in the kitchen was chipped.
