−Getting into the place was a nightmare. I tried doing it on line and managed to get my passport verified, but my partners would not work. I think there site is crap and the signal was not very good at Manchester Airport. We tried again when we got to Lisbon, but no luck, so phoned the property phone number to get the most unhelpful lady in the world. I spoke to her all the way from the airport to the property while in the taxi, but she would not give me the code to get in, so at 23:00 we were left standing outside trying the take photos of a passport in poor light which would not work. Luckily two young guys staying in the place came home and let us into the building, but we still could not get into our room. One of them worked in IT and after a lot of time trying to get my partner verified he succeeded, and we got into our room just before midnight. The floor was dirty. The bed was as hard as a brick. We did not have cutlery for two people. The toilet cistern was nearly coming of the wall. And the toilet roll holder was just hanging in one screw. We would never stay with them again for sure. This is the first bad experience we have had with Booking.com
