“Mixed reviews on this hotel”
+The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. The views were good and the reception area good.
−The rooms were not great; one plug socket by the sink so for phone charging, kettle etc that was it unless you unplug the bedside light. The breakfast room was situated in a cave with some lights, very lovely for the history of the building but not so uplifting to eat in. Lastly, they had a 'party' on the Saturday night which they informed us guests were invited to. We thought maybe it was a wedding and were perplexed when we arrived back from dinner at 10pm and nothing was happening. It started at 11.30pm until gone 3am with loud rave music, so no sleep for us.
