“Lovely accommodations, but probably better suited to long-term stays than short-term ones.”
+The accommodation apartment was superb - large, spacious, and included everything you could need for a couple of weeks for eating, cleaning and laundry. A great location to base yourself with a car to travel around the Algarve.
−More suited to long-term stays than short-term. Everything was quite a bit away, so we made heavy use of the resort's (free) taxi service. This meant there was no 'popping down to the sea for a swim' or 'sneaking out to the bar with a book'. There was a resort cycle scheme which we would have loved to use, but it was for owners/members only!? And the resort didn't have any bikes available to rent, even though it was advertised. They were also, helpfully, unable to tell us when bikes might become available to rent.

“Appartement in Vale do Lobo naar wens, omgeving voor ons bekend dus prima vermaakt.”
+Gratis toegang tot Well zwembad. Personeel vriendelijk en helpen graag. Strand september heerlijk rustig.
−Het dorp Vale do Lobo betreft faciliteiten zelf weinig te beleven. Quinta do Logo of Villamoura meer reuring. Betaald parkeren bij het strand. Wel gebruik gemaakt van de resort shuttle maar ook werd er een keer na tig x bellen niet opgenomen. Ontbijt viel erg tegen. Tegen betaling naar de gym. Auto heb je echt nodig.

+So the house in itself was comfortable, the kitchen was very well equiped, knifes were sharp and everything was working, the house was great. The single beds were a bit hard but we asked for toppers and that was immediately arranged and provided so nothing to complain. You had to drive 5 mins with your car or free shuttle to get to the praca and there are quite some distances to cover between things within the resort.
−For 450 a night I was expecting everything to be available but the SPA was closed in high season?? very strange. Also you need to pay for everything and we were hoping to have some more things included in this very high nightly rate. Also the house next door was being re-rendered on the outside so at 0730 every day the machines went on and loud talking awoke us each morning apart from Sunday. Also if you go to the praca and you go with your own car then you need to pay for parking, not a lot but still after those nightly rates it stings a little. For the prices you pay for food, drinks and services were too high for what you got from it in all honesty. I was nice but we won't repeat at these rates.

“Holiday stay with Golf at Vale do Lobo”
+Staff very friendly (especially shuttle drivers), breakfast paid in advance very good and taste good, golf course use very good and staff very helpful. There is one staff member who's 21 years old and favourite arsenal player is Walcott at reception that's very helpful and has very good English speaking. The Smash bar staff were very helpful all week, especially with meals and comfort.
−There are bugs already in the room (that can bite) when we arrive. The Doce staff are breakfast are not very attentive, and they will take 30minutes - 1hour to get you just one drink and most of the time forget to get it, and you need to remind them.
