−Endless grief with the doors and their pin pads. Had constantly go down to front desk and explain the code doesn't work. The staff member couldn't even be bothered to remove her headphones when inconvenienced by guests who want to get into the room they paid for. I ended up watching her punch in a master code and just used that instead. 25366 in case anyone else is having the same issue. The noisy pipes and heating kept us up all night. Ridiculously loud. The hot tub was icey and cold and no one's actually on site until 2:30pm to deal with this.

“Bad experience! Presence of bed bugs and an extremely noisy air conditioner.”
+Location and Comfort items
−While the room at Lamphouse Basecamp had some important comfort items, our experience was far from what we expected. We found a live bug on the carpet, and this morning we found another one in the bed that, when pressed, contained blood. On top of that, to cool the room down we had to turn on the air conditioning, which is extremely noisy and prevented us from getting a comfortable night's sleep. We were very disappointed with our stay.

“Ended up being a positive experience. We loved Canmore and the people.”
+The location was excellent. It was right on the main street (our suite was at the end and was very quiet) and close to the nature walks. it was very clean.
−I thought it was a condo in a complex but it ended up being a suite in a 2 story motel. This is more about my expectation and not the facility.

+The location was perfect for our stay, the room was simple and all we were looking for during our stay.
−Our bathroom shower had no door, and after a shower the floor was covered in water. It actually ended going as far as the carpet.

Buena experiencia

−The hot tub wasn't very warm. 5 other guests that used the tub agreed. Overall, it was a nice place to stay
