“Excellent rooms, food, location”
+I stayed here in October 2019 for a few nights and loved this little hotel! I've stayed in Yangon a number of times, and this is by far the best place I've stayed, yet in the same price range or less than the others. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Location is great - walking distance to the Shwedagon and park and several good restaurants. Most importantly, breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, with both traditional Myanmar options and Western options that were excellent. The staff were all exceptional, friendly and helpful. The bathroom is not only spacious and clean, there is a tub with shower curtain, so your bathroom floor isn't soaking wet every time someone showers. :) I'm planning another Myanmar trip and would like to stay here again, but see reservations are now non-cancellable. Good for Hotel Shwe Yee if this means they are heavily booked, just too bad for me since I have to plan in advance but leave things open for a multi-country trip.

+I stayed 3 nights at this hotel with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was very clean, the staff were so nice, and it was in a nice quiet area of the city. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool with the view of the Shwedagon Pagoda. AC works well and breakfast was delicious.
