+Its extremely close to the beamish living museum. Which you need 2 or three days to see it all . The price was very cheap compared to what else was available. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean . The staff were lovely and very friendly. The trip between them and beemish was 8 minutes away by car .perfect .free parking available too .what's not to like .
−For tge price we paid no complaints at all

+The room was excellent, comfortable, modern and clean
−Had booked here as there was an attached restaurant for breakfast, however, this was never open and so we went without breakfast both days

“Great value for money and exceptional cleanliness”
+Close to a party we were going to and perfect location for family. Immaculate and very well equipped. My partners 50th birthday stay was made so much better. Apologies for pictures being birthday gifts but hopefully this gives more of an ideas of the size of the rooms also
−There was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel

“It is good value for money and is perfect for a nights stay. The room was large enough and tastefully decorated. Shame a”
+It was very clean and even though it was basic they added some nice touches. The towels were very clean and fluffy. There was tea and coffee in the room. Shower gel, soap and shampoo provided. Games available in the hallway
−The shower didn’t work and as there was no one on reception we didn’t have time to report. We booked a bedroom for 3 people and the double bed was more like a large single.

“A good price, comfortable clean room but bed sizes definitely need to be looked at.”
+The hotel is in a good position for us when visiting relatives in the area. The room & bathroom were a good size & very clean, both supplied with plenty of extras, tea, coffee, etc in the former & toiletries in the latter, although something in the shower to hold soap etc would be handy. It was very quiet.
−We received an email the day before arrival saying we needed to book in online, with photo ID & passport nos. I ignored this & discovered it related to people from overseas. this could have easily confused & upset some people. The lack of anyone at Reception was a bit disconcerting, although a pleasant lad popped his head out of an office to make sure we knew how to get our room key, we never saw another member of staff. Our main complaint was the bed, we booked a double, it certainly wasn't. I'm a size 8-10 my Husband of average build & we had virtually no sleep being afraid to try & move. While we found in in the main it was good value for money the bed situation would make us seriously consider staying again.
