“A lovely place to stay in Toyooka”
+It’s a cleverly renovated and beautifully decorated house, with all the comfort of modernity.
−The stairs leading up to living room and bedroom can be a bit challenging for elderly or unfit people, or people traveling with large suitcases. We only had our backpacks so it was OK for us, but I can imagine how difficult it could be to carry large suitcases upstairs (but one can also leave them downstairs as there is plenty of space downstairs).

−Alles top!

“Beautiful boutique property with lots of unique character.”
+Absolutely beautiful boutique property with lots of unique Japanese character and thoughtful touches. So comfortable, and a great place to unwind. Very well equipped kitchen. Stunning deep soaking bath. Short walk to Toyooka Station and Kinosaki Onsen is very accessible by train, so this makes a great alternative to staying in Kinosaki Onsen. The property also has a sister hotel a couple of minutes walk away, with a guest lounge and bar. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful in making recommendations and restaurant bookings.

+Staffs are very friendly and willing to help, we do very much appreciate
−The pot and frying pan are so tiny in scale compared to the size of the nice and cozy kitchen

+It was a nice property. The yard was also very pretty. Access to the other hotel was also nice, and they have a free lounge. It was overall a cool experience to stay in a renovated storage unit.
−Unfortunately, the place was smaller than what appears in the pictures. I believe a lot of space is taken up by the stairway and empty space. The price was also higher than expected due to additional fees.
