−Confusion over entry/ getting room key. Noise from pier nightclub. Lack of onsite staff.

“You get what you pay for.”
+Bed was extremely comfortable, room was a good size. It as located right by the pier and was extremely cheap.
−My biggest issue is the fire alarm going off multiple times. Tried called the emergency number to inform them but no one answered. It went off twice during my stay and because there is no staff on site it took ages for anyone to show up and turn it off. Water pressure was terrible and the temperature was tepid at best.

“Never again!!”
+The room was clean.
−The toilet rocked forward when you sat on it. The nightlife under our room/music playing until after 3am. The fights outside of our room early hours of the morning. We had 4 hours sleep and left the building.

+Great location, very clean.
−Very thin walls, you could hear every move made in the next room, especially the music that started at 7am on the Sunday.

“Nice room - disappointing due to lack of parking and lack of sleep due to the street & music noise.”
+The room was good for the price. Small fridge & kettle was available.
−Website says parking on site but there is none. We had to pay for overnight parking. In the room it said it may be noisy over night and the windows would need to be shut. The noise didn’t stop until 5 am so we had very little sleep. We could not fully shut the window and actually didn’t want the windows shut because we wanted the fresh air.

“Lovely clean room, but unfortunately quite a few things affected our sleep and comfort.”
+The room and bathroom were lovely and clean, and the mini fridge was a really nice touch.
−There was only one hand towel and one bath towel provided for two guests. We didn’t notice until late in the evening, so didn’t feel it was appropriate to contact the owner at that point. The beds were extremely creaky and the walls were very thin, so noise from neighbouring rooms could be heard quite clearly. The neighbours weren’t being excessively noisy, but the sound carried a lot. The doors also seemed difficult to close without being slammed, which caused some disturbance when other guests were coming and going. The curtain in our room was also hanging off at one end, so quite a lot of light came in early in the morning.
