“Unimpressive for the price.”
+Odd mix of incredible and not so good. What was good? The breakfast: no tired buffet, but instead a freshly cooked and delicious breakfast. Lovely staff all around. Nice touch to have an adapter in the room.
−The room was designed for photos, not comfort. The heating did not work very well. Pillows like rocks; the mattress was uncomfortable. A huge dresser was filled mostly with stuff to buy. A single had a bunk bed very low above my head. A small corner unit with the stuff to buy would suffice, and a comfortable chair in place of the existing credenza would be a great start.

“Globalement satisfait.”

−No communication. My reservation "didnt exist" as room had technical issue so i was moved to another hotel 20 mins away (wrong side from where i wanted). Front of house left me for 15min to speak to manager who didnt even have grace to tell me in person.

“Disappointing.”
+Location and style are lovely. It looks great.
−The pillows are incredibly bad, like they were choosen by an interior designer but not tested for comfort. Both my wife and I ended up sleeping on makeshift pillows of towels. Reception said there were no other towel options. The room also had a weird automated toilet that made noise whenever someone went near it. I'd question the green credentials of a toilet that had a heated seat 24 hours around the clock. I don't think people want that. Buy some decent pillows and put in a normal toilet. Priorities are misjudged.

“Tiny tiny room”
+Lovely staff and well decorated
−Tiny room the size of a cupboard - it had a single bed squeezed into a corner and it was so narrow my feet touched the wall. No wardrobe and the room was so small I couldn’t even open the door fully to enter. Couldn’t possibly recommend as it was 300 EUR for one night!

“Comfortable, well located hotel, let down by some basic service problems.”
+Well located Attractive hotel with pretty and stylish bedrooms Friendly and helpful staff Food generally good
−You have to ask for basic amenities you’d expect to find in a hotel. They have a room safe, shower caps, refill of complementary water, more than two hangers between two of you for three days, except you have to ask for these things. They also want you to tell them every day that you want your room serviced. One morning we queued for 15 minutes with people checking in and out with one member of staff on the desk to tell them that we wanted our room serviced. Unacceptably long waits at both dinner and breakfast, about 40 minutes to be served at breakfast on the morning we had breakfast there and nothing is self service so you couldn’t even help yourself to a coffee. Similar wait time before starter arrived at dinner and between starter and main.
