+A clean, comfortable double room with kitchenette and modern bathroom Well located, in quiet area, near local shop, 10 mins walk from high street Good communication from host, easy to check-in and out
−TV services were poor, as few channels available, and streaming channels did not work , due to internet connection; only netflix worked Not a big problem, but mattered to me as a solo traveller!

“Comfortable, tasteful, and worth a second stay.”
+This was our second stay at this property and it didn't disappoint. The room is spacious, tastefully furnished and comfortable. Overall a nice stay , would happily stay again.

“Good as a base, but not particularly comfortable.”
+Good location, within easy walk of high street and we drove to Maidenhead to catch Elizabeth line into London. Easy to find and free, on street parking. Information from the host was clear and informative.
−Facilities were basic. The beds were uncomfortable and we couldn’t stand up in the shower. It was clean but not immaculate and felt a little tired.

“Very good stay, just 2 minor finer details to improve on”
+Loved everything about this accommodation and really enjoyed my stay. The only minor issue was the Wi-Fi in the room, which was a little unreliable and kept cutting out on my laptop. I also found that when streaming Netflix or YouTube through the TV, the connection would occasionally drop. The only other small niggle was that there wasn’t a spoon provided for cereal or for making a hot drink. These are very minor points and just a couple of small touches that would have made an already excellent stay outstanding. I would certainly stay again. Thank you!

“Would like a refund for one night as the room, was NOT a Deluxe Kingsize suite as advertised”
+Dont say I like this, but this seems to be the way venues are going . The Acorns seems to belong to someone who lives abroad, and there is no hosting or meals provided. You are sent the pin number for the keysafe to gain entry to your room. Aware there would be no host to greet us, ( not so much for another reason to be any help in the problem I am complaining about now )
−The room we had been booked into sounded VERY GRAND being the Deluxe King suite and there would be ( seeming like in the actual rooms ) a washing machine, extra toilet , large shower room ( true ) dining table , provided with linens, and....... quite a list. However, on entry on Friday night into the hallway after getting the key out of the safe box outside the building, as aware there would be no ' host' to check us in. On entry to our ' suite', we walked into a small room, very clean and nicely decorated and the ensuite shower room clean and big. Where was all the rest ? ( All outside in the hallway ) there were a couple of glass tables with chairs round each side actually inside the room Hmmm it wasn't really a problem until later, when we went to bed... OMG the bed was a very very small double) the frame low to the floor, but the main problem was the mattress, soooo soft, neither of us got much sleep as sleeping like that, makes your back ache, as for getting up in the night that was so difficult. So yesterday morning we left to go to meet my family to join them in , the sad event of saying goodbye to the ashes of my brother on his final journey to join all the others gone befo

“Lovely apartment, well worth the price”
+The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. It was great to have the little extras like milk, cereals and fruit juice. The apartment was excellent value for money. The owner sent plenty of information prior to our visit about accessing the property and even sent a message to make sure we had arrive safely. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acorns to family and friends

“Fresh, clean room with great size bathroom and friendly hosts.”
+We booked this property because it was opposite some friends who we were visiting in Marlow in the same road where we used to live. We met Kristina the owner when we arrived (slightly early) who asked us to wait in the garden while the room was prepared and gave us some water while we were waiting. The property is very modern inside and well decorated with a large bathroom in room 4. Some snacks, milk, coffee, tea and sugar were available. There is a shop around the corner where we were able to buy some more breakfast options and other drinks. It was quite hot while we were there and luckily there was a fan in the cupboard which we made use of.
−We would have given this property a 10 if it were not for the creaking floorboards in our room which you could not avoid anywhere other than in the bathroom. We were aware that as the house was full at this time with people underneath, we were uncomfortable walking around as we felt we may have been disturbing other guests.
