“Kindly&considerately staffed with very tasty meals.”
+Helpful+friendly staff. Very tasty food of good quality. Considerate in fulfilling requests
−Dining room very chilly it seemed to me. Our TV didn't work + confirmed by staff. Fortunately not an issue for us but this maybe an issue. Some items may need updating eg TV, hairdryer but overall the positive considerate Staff + Management (since March 2026) compensated.

“Disappointing”
+The evening food was incredible along with the breakfast. You can tell that the chef has put effort into the menu and has a very high talent.
−The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained. Along with the general disrepair of the building, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The place looks amazing in the photos, but unfortunately, the reality does not live up to expectations. During our visit, we spoke to some locals who told us it used to be a lovely place under the previous management. However, since the new management took over, they feel it has gradually been neglected and is slowly being left to decay. It is such a shame to see a place with so much potential being allowed to deteriorate. With better maintenance, cleanliness and care, it could be a fantastic place to stay, but sadly, our experience fell well below expectations.

“Ruhige gelegenes schönes kleines Haus”
+Sehr schönes altes kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit Blick auf einen Teich. Historisches Zimmer mit modernen Bad. Hat mir sehr gefallen. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden

“Very comfortable, good food and very warm and”
+Stunning setting by the pond with very friendly ducks and very friendly staff. Good very good, bed very comfortable. My room had lovely view over the pond and gardens. New owners very warm and welcoming.
−Pressure on the shower was adequate but could have been better.

“Prachtige locatie met vriendelijk personeel”
+Mooie locatie, kleinschalig, charmant pand. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en uitnodigend. Diner was heel lekker. Ik voelde me er erg comfortabel. Parking nabij huis,prima.
−Het was een beetje te warm in de kamer. Wel ventilator ter beschikking. Tip: haardroger ter beschikking stellen. Verder absoluut geen opmerkingen.

−It’s an old building so the noise of guests above was quite intrusive (but unlike modern hotels there were no noisy doors slamming). Restaurant lacked atmosphere and at breakfast the white table cloth had not been changed from evening before.
