+We like the location. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy The bar area had a friendly atmosphere and lots of comfy seating
−We didn't like the pool area It was dark and dingy, the water was cold, the clock was broken and the changing rooms needed updating

“Lovely place to stay, would happily go back”
+Lovely location and grounds, lots of parking. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms a good sized and well equipped. Breakfast good quality and refreshed regularly
−If on the second floor, stairs to negotiate, which is tricky with wheeled luggage The nachos are not warmed!! They come out cold!

“Disappointing customer service”
+Rooms were clean, free parking, good breakfast.
−I asked to merge 2 bookings prior (I booked us 2 nights separately as we decided to stay longer than originally planned), I was assured this had been merged and our key would work across the entire weekend. This wasn't the case and we got locked out of our room after breakfast on day 2. Also the venue put a £1000 hold on our credit card per night, which is an insane hold and it took 4 days to clear.

+The accommodation and service was good. A lovely liocation & grounds. A pleasant place to stay.I didn't have food so I cant comment on that but my companions enjoyed it.
−It was a very comfortable stay - only spoilt by being woken up at 5am by people in another room having a terrible row and shouting at the top of their voices. This argument continued for quite some time and also wolke up .my friend..I can't blame the hotel for this but, unfortunately it put a dampener on the nights sleep. One point - I wasn't so keen in traipsing across a bar area with luggage - a route around it would be better.

“Great weekend with friends”
+Lovely location, nice building. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. We had a lovely day down at the station and the pub next door

“Lovely surrounds, good food, great staff. Just what I need was looking for.”
+Just spot on for what I wanted. Lovely and quite night. I travl for work and try to avoid cities, so it worked for me. Bed comfortable, Staff excellent with their customer service. Some features slighty dated, but that does not phase me as everything is clean and functional.
−Only thing I might add is a newer television with up to date features. TV was very basic and only a few standard channels.

+The food was really nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was good as well the jacuzzi and sauna. Having free tea and coffee available in the bar area was a pleasant surprise
−Little things the shower we couldn’t adjust the temp so was always hot, no glasses in the room. Room was a little cold. Windows could do with a lick of paint, hand dryers in the women’s toilets didn’t work and there was nothing else to dry your hands on.
